Construction Update

2/16/2026- The contractor installing the steel structure started on December 1st to erect the building and is making good progress despite heavy winds and some snow. The exterior structure of the building is complete and next is interior wall insulation.

3/23/2026- Fundraising Update: We have completed the steel structure and our building is ‘dried in’. Fundraising for the interior wall insulation is complete (Thanks to God helping us with the Italian Breaking Bread FUN-raiser Meal. Insulation has been ordered and when it is here we will install it.

7/6/2026- Fundraising for our interior Framing has begun. This will include the materials for main and upper level wall web trusses and framing so rough-in electrical and plumbing (the next parts of this phase) can be done. This portion of the next phase is estimated to cost $72,450. To date we have raised $20,732 (about29%) of that. While we’re raising these finances we are skim-coating and dying the portion of the floor concrete that will be a final finish.

8/3/2026 – We have completed the dye on the floor and plan to insulate the walls soon and then start framing. Fundraising for the framing currently stands at $24,357 (about 34%).

9/30/2026 – We have $46,122 (64%) of the $72,450 for framing raised and started putting in the wall insulation. We’re looking forward to seeing some interior walls begin going up soon.

10/19/2026 – Praise God and thank you all! We have reached the goal of $72,450 for framing materials and will be starting framing the inside walls and upper level floors for the classrooms soon!

Next Milestone

Our next milestone will be when we get the interior wall insulation installation finished and start the interior framing.

Current Phase of Construction

We are into “Phase 4” of construction.

Phase 1 – Planning, engineering & steel building structure [completed & paid for]

Phase 2 – Underground utilities, footings, and floor slab [completed & paid for with part of a loan]

Phase 3 – Building erection including roof insulation, doors & windows [completed except for wall insulation]

Phase 4 – Wall insulation, dying of the concrete as flooring, 2nd level & interior framing

Phase 5 – Rough-in plumbing, electric and heating & air conditioning, Interior sheetrock, finish plumbing, finish electrical and light fixtures, interior doors & trim and paint

Phase 6 – Vestibule (front entry doors), Connection Corridor, Septic System, Water System, and Parking lot

Phase 7 – Media, furniture, kitchen and elevator

Next Funding Goal

We are working on phase 4b fundraising of roughly $72,450 to purchase interior framing materials. To date (10/19/26) we have raised the entire $72,450 for framing and will soon move on to rough plumbing and electrical.
