rom the Word of God we believe that worshiping our Heavenly Father is what we were created for, so praise and worship have a very high priority in our gatherings at Mountain Family Fellowship. Our goal is to offer God worship that delights His heart, so rather than simple “song” services, we offer Him songs from our heart that are often either celebratory, contemplative, or full of thanks to Him. Our desire and high expectation is that we will experience and feel the presence of God every time we worship, since we know He has promised that He “inhabits the praises of His people,” (Psalm 22:3).
We also encourage everyone to not wait until Sunday or weekday services to worship Him. Worship should be a lifestyle. 1 Peter 2:9 says that we are “a chosen people, a people belonging to God, that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light“. In other words, we believe our lives are to be an offering of worship to God, showing those around us who might be in darkness that there is a better way.
So come worship with us. “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you,” (1 Peter 5:6-7). Be refreshed by putting aside all the daily cares of life and enjoy Him as we focus our affections on God through our corporate worship.
