Anyone visiting Mountain Family Fellowship, and even many who are longtime members of the “Mountain Family,” might believe that we are a non-denominational church. We have chosen, however, to have a ministerial affiliation, for accountability purposes, with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC)denomination. They allow us to operate the church totally as we feel led by the Holy Spirit, without external pressures that are sometimes associated with other denominations.
Mountain Family Fellowship church is a very missions-minded church. We believe completely in Jesus’ mandate to “go into all the world” and preach the gospel. We have missionaries from our church, and we support others who are not from our church.
Other Ministries We Support
It seems like many churches associate only with ministries or churches from their denomination. That is not us. We support and pray God’s blessings on ministries that we see doing kingdom business as we expect Jesus would like us to. Though most of these ministries have not started here at “Mountain Family” we encourage people to support them.
Helena Burn 24-7 Helena Burn is about devoting time to continuous prayer and worship. It’s about glorifying Jesus, and interceding for our City, State, and Nation. Helena Burn in an open event. If you believe Jesus is your Lord and Savior please join us in worshiping Him as King and interceding for our city!
Montana School of Prayer
We believe, as the Bible teaches, that we are to pray without ceasing. In other words, we as believers are to live a lifestyle of communication with our heavenly Father. The Montana School of Prayer is uniting intercessors from all over Montana to do just that. We fully support and participate in events they regularly bring to our area.
Glory Light Prayer and Healing Rooms
(formerly called Helena Healing Rooms)
We believe that Divine healing for our bodies was paid for at the cross just like forgiveness of our sin was. That is why we support a local (Helena, MT) ministry called Glory Light Prayer and Healing Rooms in their efforts to pray for healing and train and equip Christians to take their God-given authority to lay hands on the sick and watch them recover (Mark 16:17).
National Day of Prayer
We believe that anything we can do to facilitate or encourage prayer is in alignment with the heart of God. The National Day of Prayerevents are in agreement so we support their efforts wholeheartedly.
Christians United for Israel (CUFI)
We believe, as the Bible teaches, that we are to pray for the peace of Israel, and that anyone who blesses Israel will be blessed. That is one of the reasons why we, as a church, support any efforts by the CUFI organization.
